EMURGO, the official commercial arm and a founding entity of the Cardano blockchain, today announced plans to acquire the business units of Infinity Blockchain Group (IBG). IBG is a business group composed of several blockchain companies operating across Asia, led by
Infinity Blockchain Labs, a specialized blockchain R&D company.
Since 2015, IBG has been developing a number of blockchain applications with a focus on Cardano and a number of other large blockchain protocols.
Additionally, IBG has also led the development of Moonstake, a prominent blockchain staking provider in Asia, and accumulated strong technical expertise in proof-of-stake (PoS) and cross-blockchain interoperability.
IBG is currently heavily committed to the development of Cardano-based solutions and services, and fields a team of professional engineers that have completed formal training courses.
This business acquisition aims to further strengthen EMURGO’s strategic resources and accelerate research into the interoperability of Cardano with other known blockchains.
EMURGO will continue to achieve its objectives to strengthen the expansion of the Cardano ecosystem through its business units.
