What to Know About The Cardano Berlin Hackathon 2024

NMKR, an NFT and asset tokenization service, is scheduled to organize a Cardano hackathon in Berlin, Germany with the support of EMURGO, Cardano Foundation, and Input Output Global (IOG).

The hackathon is partly due to a successful Project Catalyst (a decentralized community funding program for the Cardano ecosystem) proposal by NMKR, intending to bring together builders and developers to collaborate, innovate, and kickstart new ideas for Cardano’s Web 3 ecosystem.

As this is an in-person event, participants must be able to physically attend. Registration is open and free to all.

See below for more details on how to register and for event information.

Who should register

The hackathon is open to anyone looking to build, collaborate, or innovate Web3 products & services using the Cardano blockchain.

Anyone with a technical or non-technical background can join and network with other like-minded community members to discuss and demonstrate their ideas.

For example, existing teams looking to migrate a blockchain/Web3 project to Cardano from another blockchain network, those looking to expand a Web3 platform under development, or those wanting to launch a new product or service are welcome.

Even solo developers can join the event and collaborate with others or display their own Web3 innovations.

As an open-source and provably secure blockchain aiming to be the first network with a distributed, community-run governance structure, Cardano is open to many ideas in areas such as DeFi, DAO tools, NFTs, decentralized identity, wallet solutions, user privacy, interoperability solutions, and much more.
